Job description

Responsibilities

Inspect, Troubleshoot, and repair trailer bodies, systems, and components.

Perform preventative maintenance measures on trailers and trucks.

Service and repair the brakes, electrical, ABS system, and hydraulic systems, panels, post, suspension, flooring, roofs, Refrigeration/AC systems.

Ensuring that trailers meet the U.S. Department of Transportation's road safety requirements.

Using electronic devices to compile inspection reports, documenting repair's and reporting all findings to management.

Inspect, service, and replace parts, including tires.

Welding and cutting torch experience helpful.

Maintain work area appearance and safety.

CDL preferred but not required.

Will train the right individual.

Must have a good set of basic hand tools including small roll away box & Welding gear, helmet, gloves, etc. Tool list is available on request.
