On-Site Truck and Trailer Maintenance and Repairs: Our mobile repair experts come to you, performing all maintenance and repairs at your location and around your schedule. All of our technicians are D.O.T. and brake certified and are capable of performing a great number of repairs and services.
Responsibilities
WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Perform repairs and inspections on a variety of Class 6-8 trucks and trailers, such as brakes, diagnostics, A/C systems, electrical systems, engine components, exhaust systems, after-treatment systems, lift-gates, tires, etc.
  • Service clients around the Clayton area
  • Schedule and overlook all maintenance procedures, including preventive maintenance and DOT inspections.
  • Repair/Replace vehicle/ trailer components.
  • Open and Close repair orders on a company-issued device.
  • Obtain parts from local vendors and manage inventory on the service truck.
  • Accurately complete DOT forms and all other forms of documentation in a timely fashion.

Qualifications
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE
  • Minimum of 5 years of diesel and trailer repair experience preferred.
  • Experienced with ac, reefer work (609 certification a plus)
  • Communication skills
  • Ability to work extended and/or irregular hours including weekends and holidays when needed
  • Valid Driver's License required.
  • Self-motivated with excellent organization and planning skills
  • Ability to utilize a computer/tablet for electronic processing of work orders which includes adding labor hours, and updating work order statuses
  • 2 years of experience in performing annual federal inspections and brake inspections.
  • 2 years of experience in truck/ trailer maintenance and repair or equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Must possess proper tools

Salary information: $34 - $40/hr. - pay is commensurate with experience
Performance-Based Incentives in addition to hourly pay, technicians are eligible to participate in our productivity and efficiency incentive program. Incentives are paid weekly, allowing technicians to earn and receive additional compensation throughout the month rather than waiting for monthly or quarterly payouts. High-performing technicians have the opportunity to significantly increase their earnings beyond their base hourly rate.
