Join Our Team as a Short Haul Tractor Trailer Delivery Driver!
Snider Fleet Solutions is one of the largest commercial tire dealers and retread service providers in the nation. We are committed to excellence and recognize the dedication it takes to do a great job.
This is a salaried position that allows you to be home every night (Monday - Friday and no holidays required). Note: there will be occasional live load deliveries in addition to drop and hook deliveries.
Snider Fleet Solutions is seeking a customer focused Short Haul Tractor Trailer Delivery Driver with a Valid Class A CDL. The Driver will pick up and drop off customer tires and wheels while operating a 53' Tractor Trailer with a max capacity up to 80,000 pounds. There will be occasional live load deliveries in addition to drop and hook deliveries. This role is customer facing!

Responsibilities:
  • Operate a 53-foot tractor-trailer to deliver commercial tires, wheels, and other items
  • Ensure proper loading/unloading of inventory and ensuring paperwork is correct
  • Maintain a safe driving record, follow all safety rules/PPE requirements, and conduct thorough pre- and post-trip inspections
  • Accurately track hours, mileage, fuel, repairs, tolls, and expenses using an Electronic Logging Device (ELD)
  • Keep tractor-trailer clean, stocked, and maintained
  • Support warehouse/service staff with tire handling and equipment use
  • Communicate effectively with customers and management regarding schedules, delays, violations, accidents, or breakdowns
  • Demonstrate reliability, professionalism, and adherence to policies and procedures

Qualifications:
  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • At least 1+ years experience (preferably within the industry)
  • Must have a clean driving record
  • Ability to pass backgrounds screening and insurable by company standards

Certificates and Licenses:
  • Valid Class A CDL Driver's License and must be insurable to drive by company standards
  • DOT Medical Certification

Skills and Abilities
  • Ability to pass background check and drug screen
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to use road maps, smart phones, and GPS devices
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and time constraints
  • Must be able to work in a results-oriented fast-paced environment
  • Reliable and dependable with self-initiative
