Job description

Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM | Growth Opportunities + Tool Allowance
Magnum is hiring a Trailer Fabricator to support the repair, maintenance, and structural integrity of trailers while ensuring compliance with DOT requirements and industry standards. This role is ideal for someone with experience in trailer fabrication, welding, diagnostics, and preventative maintenance.

What You'll Do
  • Repair and maintain trailers to ensure safe and reliable operation
  • Perform welding and fabrication work on aluminum, steel, and stainless steel trailers
  • Repair, rewire, and troubleshoot trailer electrical systems
  • Diagnose defects and perform repairs based on driver reports, inspections, or preventative maintenance findings
  • Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on all makes and models of trailers
  • Follow all shop safety standards and company policies while handling tools, equipment, and chemicals
  • Prepare and organize materials for welding, including cleaning, cutting, and positioning components
  • Use computer systems to log work orders, maintain service records, and process repair documentation
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure repairs are completed efficiently
  • Work collaboratively with the shop team to keep Magnum's equipment safe, compliant, and road-ready
  • Support additional projects and duties as assigned
