Job description

Traffic Sign Technician

Makes and installing traffic signs

Maintains inventory of parts and sign material and marking materials

Applies pavement marking materials

Assists during construction projects in implementing traffic detours

Assists other City departments during special events such as Apple Blossom with traffic control

Responds to urgent traffic related calls whenever necessary

Assists with maintaining traffic signals

Performs snow removal operations, i.e., chemical spreading, plowing, shoveling, scraping, etc.

Education and/or Experience: Any combination of education and experience equivalent to completion of the ninth-grade

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Possession of a valid driver's license
