Employment Status: This is a full-time seasonal role expected to end on or after November 30, 2026. Hours are available.

Anticipated Term: We are hiring for the 2026 season.

About the Positions

ATS Calgary is looking for Traffic Technician for the 2025 season! Traffic Tech. are responsible for conducting traffic control around cities, construction sites, and major events such as music festivals or sporting events. This role is crucial in the design of safe lane closures and traffic detours with the physical setup and removal of devices such as barricades, pylons, signage, and digital messaging boards.

Qualifications

  • A valid Non-GDL (non-graduated) Class 5 Driver’s License and a Clean 3-Year Regular Drivers Abstract are required to drive our company vehicles. *Don't have a valid driver's license or clear abstract? Click Here to view other opportunities on the ATS Traffic website!
  • Ability to get to and from work is required.
  • As this is a safety-sensitive role, all candidates must undergo and pass a pre-employment Drug, Alcohol and Fit Test. Note: All safety-sensitive positions have a zero-tolerance policy for marijuana, medical or recreational.
  • Ability to successfully pass a Fit Test including lifting between 50 and 75 pounds.
  • A valid ACSA TCP Ticket is an asset, however, ATS covers the cost and provides ALL training and tickets to get you started!
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): All you need to bring is a pair of CSA Approved Safety Boots on your first day - we will cover the rest.
