Job description

The City of Thibodaux is accepting online application to hire School Crossing Guards. The position is a non-classified position. The school crossing guard duties and responsibilities include:
Guide or control vehicular or pedestrian traffic at such places as streets and schools.
Monitor traffic flow to locate safe gaps through which pedestrians, students and busses can cross streets.
Direct traffic movement or warn of hazards, using signs, flags, and hand signals at schools.
Work Schedule Mon-Fri during school. Two hours in morning and two hours in afternoon.
