Job Title: Traffic Control Apprentice - General Laborer

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $15.00 per hour (with the potential to earn more)
Overview: Road Runner Safety Services Inc. is a highly successful traffic control company operating in several locations. These offices include Jackson and Springfield in Missouri, along with Columbia and Kansas City in Missouri as well, and Carbondale in Illinois. We are leaders in the industry, providing expertise in traffic control for state, city, and private projects. We are currently seeking motivated individuals to join our team as Traffic Control Apprentices at our Jackson location.
Responsibilities:
• Clerical duties as needed
  • Ability to take directions and effectively communicate with supervisors and co-workers.
  • Learn and understand all traffic control devices and their applications.
  • Familiarize oneself with MUTCD and all relevant standards and procedures.
  • Set up traffic control devices to ensure safe work zones for both workers and the traveling public.
  • Complete service reports with legible handwriting.
  • Safely navigate to and from project sites.
  • Ensure correct installation of all traffic control devices.

Requirements:
  • Strong ability to multitask, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
  • Motivated with a demonstrated excellent work ethic.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • High level of integrity and credibility.
  • Valid driver's license with a good driving record and MO class E or equivalent.
  • Ability to lift and carry 50-75 lbs.
  • Safe driving and backing skills.
