Standard Work Schedule:
  • Monday - Friday 7:00am - 4:00pm. MUST be willing to be flexible as jobs may change.
Position Summary:
The Plumbing Warehouse Associate shall assist in coordinating and participating in the receipt, storage, loading, unloading, delivery, and inventory items, supplies, and equipment. They will also verify stock and identify losses, maintain the organized warehouse layout, and ensure safe operation of vehicles.
Position Responsibilities:
  • Represent our Company in a professional, safe, and efficient manner.
  • Participate in physical inventories to verify stock and control reporting to identify losses.
  • Drive company vehicles for purposes of transporting orders and materials to designated sites.
  • Loads delivery vehicles to ensure that all items and supplies are properly secured.
  • Load, unload, prepare, sort and organize material, tools and various other items.
  • Maintain and clean warehouse facilities to keep them in an orderly, clean, and safe condition.
  • Maintain vehicles (checking fluid levels, fueling, cleaning, etc.) to ensure safe operation.
  • Adheres to safety practices and courteous behavior while in the warehouse, on job sites, and operating company vehicles.
  • Prepare orders by pulling from stock to meet delivery requirements.
  • Receive deliveries of items and ensure specifications, quantity, and quality of orders are correct and/or inspects items for damage before signing to accept responsibility for the material.
  • Stocks equipment and supplies to maintain required inventory levels.
  • Interprets inventory, delivery, and safety metrics to streamline warehouse processes and ensure best practices are being followed.
  • Maintain documentation when items are taken from/returned to inventory.
  • Scans incoming shipments to ensure proper inventory tracking.
  • Partners with Warehouse Manager to evaluate inventory levels to proactively order low stock.
  • Deliver materials or other items to job sites as needed.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Required: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Required: Valid driver's license and a clean driving record with no traffic violations.
  • Required: Thorough understanding of applicable federal, state, local, and general safety policies.
  • Required: Ability to operate various types of vehicles/equipment and pass appropriate certification courses (Forklift, Box Truck, etc.).
  • Required: Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Preferred: Associate degree.
  • Preferred: 3+ years of related experience - Trade experience a plus.
Physical Demands:
  • Must be able to adhere to large amounts of standing, walking, bending, squatting, sitting, and lifting.
  • Must be able to pick up, lift, carry and move up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to work in all weather conditions (including heat, rain, cold and wind) while wearing appropriate PPE.
