Job description

In search of a part-time employee at a BBQ Specialty retail store. The business sells wood pellet grills (Traeger, Green Mountain, etc.) and one line of wood-burning charcoal grills (Big Green Egg). The store also carries a wide variety of sauces, rubs, condiments, other various food products, wood charcoal, wood pellets, and accessories/tools associated with backyard/home grilling and smoking food.

The candidate would be responsible to become knowledgeable of the store's grills and other products, stocking the shelves, cleaning and maintenance of the store under the direction of the owner and the store manager. In addition, the candidate should have experience operating a forklift and be able to lift 100 lbs. The candidate would also be responsible for assembling grills as necessary and taught to repair wood pellet grills (primarily part replacement).

Must have a valid drivers license.

We are looking for someone that would be able to work 4-5 hours a couple of weekdays from 3 or 4 to 8pm, so learning to close the store, count down the register, and set the store alarm would be taught. The right candidate would also need to be available Saturdays and Sundays for full shifts (10am-6pm Sat., 10am-4pm Sun.).
