The organization comprises approximately 1,300 employees globally and services more than $500 billion in loans outstanding.
Core Loan Operations, within WLS, delivers end-to-end global support across loan origination, servicing, restructuring, and trading. Services are tailored by client and line of business, ranging from bilateral facilities to complex syndicated loan structures. Key services include origination, deal closing and funding, collateral/document review and workflow management, loan servicing, trade confirmations and settlement, special credit services, and agent bank booking and servicing.
As a Trading Services Analyst within Wholesale Loan Services, you will be responsible for managing the controlled handling and distribution of confidential syndicated loan information to trade counterparties in support of domestic and emerging markets secondary loan transactions, loan total return swaps, and other customized loan-related transactions. The role will be executed in strict adherence to "Chinese Wall" information barriers and in close coordination with Portfolio Managers, Sales, Trading, Research, Legal, and Compliance, as appropriate.
In this position, you will be responsible for the intake, organization, review, and timely dissemination of documentation supporting the Credit Portfolio Group, the Credit Trading Desk, and the Total Return Swap Desk, ensuring appropriate materials are delivered to clients and prospective clients. The role requires sound judgment, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to execute accurately under tight deadlines while analyzing complex legal documentation.
Job Responsibilties:

  • Maintain an active portfolio of SyndTrak data rooms, ensuring timely updates, consistent organization, and controlled access management.
  • Manage the flow of borrower information for the Credit Portfolio Group, Total Return Swap Desk, and Credit Trading Desk, ensuring strict adherence to Compliance requirements for handling Private Material Non-Public Information (PMNPI).
  • Review, track, and publish documentation to SyndTrak, maintaining accurate logs and auditability of postings and updates.
  • Onboard and add prospective clients to syndication sites, including access setup and ongoing permission management.
  • Coordinate end-to-end lender calls with Sales and borrowers, managing scheduling, logistics, meeting materials, attendance, and follow-ups.
  • Respond to ad hoc inquiries from internal stakeholders and external clients with a high level of responsiveness and professionalism.
  • Ensure data room accuracy and completeness through proactive coordination with Loan and Agency Services, offshore SyndTrak teams, borrowers, lenders, Legal, and Compliance.
  • Support ad hoc projects and initiatives aligned to business needs and portfolio priorities.
  • Identify control gaps and efficiency opportunities, escalating risks appropriately and driving scalable, simplified, and innovative process improvements.
  • Lead and support continuous improvement efforts, communicating changes clearly and articulating operational impacts to stakeholders.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
  • Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and stakeholder requests simultaneously.
  • Strong team orientation with effective communication and leadership skills.
  • Sound judgment and critical decision-making ability, including identifying issues, escalating appropriately, and proposing practical solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask through strong time management and organizational discipline.
  • Proven collaboration skills across lines of business and senior stakeholders; strong attention to detail, written and verbal communication, and analytical capability.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, changing environment with a willingness to take on new assignments and learn new systems quickly.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and risk-awareness skills.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
