Job description

Job Title: Large Forklift Operator
Pay: $19.00/hour
Shift: To be discussed
Location: 925 Kennedy Avenue, Schererville, IN 46375
Integrity Trade Services is hiring a Large Forklift Operator for our manufacturing client in Schererville, IN, to start immediately at $19.00 per hour. Receive comprehensive benefits through ITS upon hire!
Responsibilities
  • Safely operate large diesel forklifts (30,000+ lbs) following manufacturer guidelines
  • Read and interpret forklift load charts and calculate load weights accurately
  • Transport and stack steel pipes, bars, pallets, and drums efficiently
  • Load and unload trucks, railcars, and trailers with large steel materials
  • Conduct daily equipment inspections and monitor engine fluids
  • Assist with equipment maintenance and complete work orders/shipping documentation
  • Maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment
  • Support production line with supplies and handling wood block materials

Qualifications
  • Experience operating large diesel forklifts (30,000+ lbs capacity)
  • Ability to lift up to 55 pounds safely
  • Strong eye/hand coordination and attention to safety protocols
  • Ability to work outdoors and adapt to changing weather conditions
  • Comfortable sitting for prolonged periods in the forklift
