Job description

AIM is seeking an Operations Associate -Trade Analyst to support the operational and service needs of our manager traded UMA platform. This individual will serve as a key point of contact for post-trade operational support, manager coordination, trade issue resolution, and day-to-day operational service items related to third party manager trading activity.
Responsibilities
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on manager trading operational workflows, including manager traded UMA activity, post-trade processing, and fixed income trade away processes.
  • Coordinate with third party managers to resolve trade-related items, including tracking down unreported trades, missing trade details, and operational exceptions.
  • Take ownership of trade errors, reconciliation breaks, and operational discrepancies by driving timely resolution efforts across managers, custodians, and internal teams while ensuring proper documentation and tracking.
  • Work closely with custodians and internal partners to resolve trade, reconciliation, settlement, and operational issues impacting platform activity.
  • Monitor and reconcile trade activity, identify operational discrepancies, and proactively research and resolve exceptions.
  • Support managers and internal users with platform-related operational, reporting, and technology support requests.
  • Generate and maintain operational reporting, workflow tracking, and documentation related to manager trading activity and unresolved operational items.
  • Proactively identify workflow gaps, operational risks, and process improvement opportunities to improve scalability, accuracy, and service delivery.
  • Partner with internal teams to improve operational efficiency and identify opportunities to leverage automation, AI, and technology enhancements.
