Job description

Help Shape the Future of Colorado’s Construction Workforce

The Construction Industry Training Council of Colorado, Inc. (CITC) is seeking skilled and motivated tradespeople to teach and mentor the next generation of apprentices in the plumbing and sheet metal trades.

What You’ll Do

  • Teach one evening class per week (typically 4 hours, 5:00–9:00 PM)
  • Spend an additional 2–4 hours per week on lesson preparation
  • Deliver instruction using a provided, industry-aligned curriculum
  • Teach primarily in person. Some hybrid and remote options may become available.

Qualifications

  • Journeyman-level or higher trade experience
  • For plumbing instructors: Colorado State Journeyman or Master Plumber license required
  • Strong communication skills and a genuine interest in mentoring apprentices
  • Teaching or training experience is helpful, but not required
