A specialized manufacturer of PCB-level RF/EMI shielding for electronic devices of all kinds. A service-oriented enterprise focused on serving a global clientele with application-specific solutions for their needs. Based in Vaughan, we ship millions of parts worldwide per year.

As part of the production team, the Manufacturing Designer & Programmer function is responsible for translating customer requirements into documentation packages and code for the manufacturing process.

Job functions include:

    Producing detailed documentation to support the manufacturing process.

    Designing and documenting jigs and fixtures to support assembly.

    Designing tooling.

    Designing and sourcing equipment and process improvements.

    Translating solid models into process code for CNC Lasers and Punch Presses.

    Working with external vendors to support the manufacturing process.

    Working with production resources to increase efficiencies.

    Take part in Quality and Contract Review meetings to provide manufacturing input.

Solid experience with Solid works as well as knowledge of precision component and sheet metal manufacturing required.

Preference to candidates with 4+ years of experience in a manufacturing design role.
