Job Description
A Front Desk Administrator is needed to support a busy law firm. Work hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Job Duties:
  • Meet with attorneys and support staff to discuss assigned cases or projects and update calendars and schedule meetings
  • Receive visitors at the front desk by greeting, welcoming, directing, and announcing them appropriately
  • Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls
  • Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary office supplies and material
  • Receive, sort and distribute daily mail/deliveries/faxes and order office supplies and keep inventory of stock
  • Enter attorney time into Timeslips
  • Copy, prepare, organize, store, and retrieve case files, which may include evidence, exhibits, deposition transcripts, pleadings, and other items
  • Open new files, update existing files, and process weekly payables
  • Perform other administrative duties as assigned

Job Requirements
Job Qualifications:
  • Must have Receptionist or Administrative experience with a customer service attitude
  • Must be proficient using Microsoft Office Suite and able to maintain calendars
  • Must have solid communication, organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Must have the ability to function well in a high-paced and, at times, stressful environment
  • Must be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
  • Must have a professional attitude and appearance
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality and to exercise discretion and good judgement
