Job description

Game Nerdz is a retailer of games, accessories, and FUN and is looking to add to our team-oriented family! The ideal candidate for the role of a Sales Associate is hard-working, has a positive attitude, and is eager to learn.

Skills:

  • Knowledge on tabletop and trading card games
  • Quick-learner and willingness to learn new processes
  • Good Communication Skills
  • Basic Computer/Software - Various computer and tablet technologies familiarity

Duties:

  • Arrive on time for shifts, prepared for work
  • Providing excellent customer service by creating a fun shopping experience
  • Open to feedback, communicates well and takes action as required.
  • Work together with the team in order to ensure all tasks are completed up to company standards
  • Keeping sales floor clean and organized
  • Assisting with shipment and able to lift up to 30 lbs.
  • Working on register system and being able to handle cash, gift card, and credit card transactions
  • Perform trash runs, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and regular bathroom upkeep to keep work area clean and clutter free

In addition to the duties listed above, all applicants should note that due to the nature of the business, there may be other tasks required of employees in order to ensure smooth operations.

Must be 18 years or older for this position.

Job Type: Part-time

Expected hours: 15 – 27 per week

Work Hours: Various hours/days, including nights, weekends and holidays.
