Soltage - Asset Management Administrative Assitant

Company Overview:
Soltage is a leader in the development, financing, and operation of distributed scale solar and storage assets for commercial, industrial, municipal, and utility customers across the United States. Soltage has developed more than 150 solar energy projects to-date, with more than 600 MW total distributed generating capacity in operation or under construction and invested over $1.7 Billion to date into the US clean energy sector.

Position Description:
Soltage is seeking an administratively oriented candidate to join a fast-growing solar distributed generation company as a key member of the Asset Management team. The Asset Management Administrator will support the ongoing operations of portfolios of solar projects and monitor their financial and operational performance. The Administrator will also support the Asset Managers in administering investor reporting, budgeting and the management of corporate insurance policies.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Support the Asset Managers in managing a diverse portfolio of solar and BESS assets, associated with the monitoring and performance management of Soltage’s assets across multiple states.
  • Manage the day-to-day documentation and coordination of insurance deliverables on the portfolio.
  • Generate accurate, high-quality data to prepare Asset Management reports.
  • Generate and distribute invoices; manage cross-functionality with Accounts Payable.
  • Assist Asset Managers with project budget documentation.
  • Support generation reporting and maintain precise operational records.
  • Manage relationships with contract counterparties and ensure timely, clear communication.
  • Utilize the Soltage asset management software platform to access, retrieve and report on data.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.

Experience and Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience supporting asset management functions. Experience in energy, real estate or insurance industries is a plus.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, strong reliability and a proactive approach to supporting team objectives.
  • Demonstrated interest in renewable energy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven analytical and mathematical capabilities.
  • Superior listening, critical thinking, and writing and presentation skills.

  • This is a full-time, hybrid position based out of Soltage’s headquarters in Jersey City, New Jersey.
