Day in the Life of a Trade Compliance Intern

We are looking for curious, adaptable, and self-driven individuals with a passion to innovate. Bring your experience and ideas to help us ensure the growth of our company by supporting the manufacturing and creation of our aircraft. No matter where you are in the company you are critical to the success of Bell. As a Trade Compliance Intern at Bell, you can expect to:

  • Research and learn Customs and export procedures and documentation necessary for compliant operation of the business.
  • Assist in classifying parts/data for export and Customs.
  • Document the classification analysis performed for recordkeeping and audit purposes.
  • Attend and observe program meetings to gather facts and set priorities.
  • Assist in preparing export license applications.
  • Collaborate with other departments to improve processes.
  • Support internal and external audit-related requirements.

Qualifications

What You'll Need:

  • Actively pursuing a Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Administration required
  • Minimum 60 college credit hours completed by the start of the internship (June 1, 2027) or prior Bell internship experience
  • 3.0 minimum overall, undergraduate GPA strongly preferred
  • Able to complete the entire 10 weeks of the internship: June 1- August 6, 2027 Preference will be given to candidates that are Rising Senior classification during the 2027 internship.

What Will Make You Stand Out:

  • Demonstrated experience with active listening, organization, time management, and prioritization
  • Experience with SAP preferred
