Schedule: Monday - Friday | 7:00 AM - 3:45 AM **Shift subject to change**

The Renovations Department is seeking (1) Skilled Trades Worker to join the already awesome team taking the Renovations Department to the next level of excellence!

HERE IS WHAT YOU WILL DO
The ideal candidate will perform renovation tasks which include electrical, carpentry and painting. In addition to supporting the department, Skilled Trades Worker will also:
  • Cleans and prepares surfaces to be painted using sandpaper, steel wool, scrapers, soap and water.
  • Operates power tools, heavy machinery such as forklift, boom lift, etc.
  • Paints interior and exterior walls and ceiling with brushes, rollers and spray guns.
  • Performs electrical work in tandem with an electrician by performing demolition, installation of electrical fixtures, installing conduit, pulling wire.
  • Performs light carpentry work, repairs locks.
  • Performs minor renovations.
  • Will perform semi-skilled tasks (in various trades). Employee will clean work areas, sweep, collect trash, assist in demolition activities, move supplies and equipment, and perform routine renovations.

Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
  • Technical or vocational degree in plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, or electrical trade area; or high school diploma or GED and one year of experience in plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, or electrical trade.
  • A valid Georgia Driver's license.

Preferred Hiring Qualifications:
  • General painting knowledge, method, and procedures.
  • Knowledge of basic principles and practices of electrical, painting, carpentry, and other related trades.
  • Able to work in confined spaces, lift or carry heavy items more than 50 lbs.
  • Ability to operate power tools, heavy machinery such as forklift, boom lift, etc.

Anticipated Hiring Range: $32,400 - $38,900. Salary offers will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications in relation to the Minimum Hiring Standards. Candidates earlier in their careers are typically offered salaries closer to the minimum of the hiring range, while those with more advanced or relevant experience may be considered for compensation at or above the hiring range.
