Job description

Ready for the Next Step in Your Automotive Career?
Are you a top-performing salesperson ready to move into management, but there isn't an opportunity where you are?
Are you a Sales Manager who wants to learn F&I and become a more well-rounded automotive leader, but can't get the opportunity?
Or are you an F&I Manager ready to move into sales management, learn the used-car business, and take the next step in your career?
If any of those sound like you, we want to talk.
Kolar Automotive Group has a rare opportunity to combine the best of all three worlds: sales management, used vehicle operations, and F&I.
We're looking for driven people who want to help grow our used vehicle business - sourcing and acquiring inventory, appraising trades, managing aging and turn, desking and closing deals, developing our sales teams, and stepping into F&I when needed.
You don't need to be an expert in every area today. Bring us the talent, work ethic, leadership ability, and desire to learn, and we'll help develop the rest.
Why Kolar?
Kolar Automotive Group has proudly served our community for more than 50 years. We're a family-owned, high-volume dealer group with a strong reputation, great facilities, and something we're especially proud of: a culture where good people stay.
What We Offer
  • Highly competitive management pay plan with strong earning potential

  • Huge advertising budget that drives customer traffic

  • Strong new and used vehicle volume

  • Opportunity to help build and grow the dealership's used vehicle inventory

  • Cross-training and career development in sales management, used vehicle operations, and F&I

  • Experienced and supportive leadership team

  • Vehicle/demo allowance

  • 401(k), health insurance & disability coverage, and free dental

  • Paid vacation & holidays

  • Employee discounts on vehicles, service, and parts

  • Sales Department hours of 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM

  • No Sundays

What You'll Do
  • Help lead and grow the dealership's used vehicle operation

  • Source and acquire used vehicles through trades, auctions, and other acquisition channels

  • Appraise trades and manage inventory mix, pricing, aging, and turn

  • Desk and structure new and used vehicle deals and assist in closing customers

  • Coach, train, and help develop the sales team

  • Help maximize vehicle volume and profitability

  • Step into F&I when needed - contract deals, work with lenders, present finance products, and ensure deals are accurate and compliant

Who We're Looking For
Automotive experience is important, but your drive and potential matter just as much as your current title.
  • Successful automotive Sales Managers or Used Vehicle Managers

  • F&I Managers ready to expand into sales management

  • Top-performing automotive sales professionals ready for their first management opportunity

  • People with strong leadership, communication, closing, and team-building skills

  • Candidates who understand - or want to learn - inventory management, appraisals, pricing, and acquisition

  • Competitive, accountable, team-oriented people who want to grow

Previous F&I experience is a plus but not required. If you're the right person with the desire to learn, we'll train you.
A valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record and background check are required.
Your Next Opportunity May Be Here
If you're succeeding in your current position but feel like you've hit a ceiling, don't wait for an opening that may never come.
If you're ready for an opportunity to learn, lead, grow a business, and take the next step in your career, we'd like to meet you.
