Job description

Quantinno Capital Management, established in 2018 by alumni from some of the world's largest investment firms, is an asset manager specializing in innovative tax-aware investment strategies. Leveraging expertise in quantitative investment approaches, Quantinno offers tailored solutions for taxable investors. Quantinno currently manages over $70 billion in assets on behalf of some of the largest Family Offices, Multi-Family Offices, and Registered Investment Advisors (RIAs) in the country.
Primary Responsibilities
This individual will play a critical role in supporting front-to-back trade execution, ensuring smooth and accurate trade processing, and facilitating seamless interaction between trading, portfolio management, counterparties, and custodians. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, brings a mindset of continuous process improvement, and is passionate about markets and operations.
• Own the end-to-end processing of in-kind security movements (IN/OUT) via DTC, coordinating directly with custodians, prime brokers, and counterparties to ensure accurate delivery and receipt.
• Ensure accurate tax lot and cost basis preservation across every in-kind transfer, partnering with PMs and Fund Administrators to confirm lot-level detail carries through correctly.
• Investigate and resolve DTC transfer rejects, breaks, and delivery/receipt discrepancies in real time, escalating promptly to avoid settlement or tax reporting impact.
• Validate trade accuracy in the OMS and downstream systems, resolving discrepancies in real time
• Support high-volume, systematic trading driven by TLH rebalancing and harvesting events
• Perform daily reconciliations across trades, positions, cash balances, and tax lots at the account level
• Support daily and periodic tax loss harvesting workflows, including identification, execution support, and post-trade validation
• Identify opportunities to automate TLH-related workflows, reconciliations, and exception management
Qualifications
• Direct experience with DTC In-Kind Transfers and CBRS for tax lot a must.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field
• 2-7 years of experience in Trading Operations, or Fund Operations at a Prime Brokerage or Asset Manager
• Strong understanding of the full trade lifecycle and post-trade processes across multiple asset classes
• Hands-on experience working with Prime Brokers and Fund Administrators on daily reconciliations
• Proven ability to manage settlement, reconciliation, and operational breaks under tight deadlines
• Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and ability to manage time-sensitive workflows
The salary range for this role will be between $120,000 and $150,000 per year. This position is onsite located in New York, NY. This role may also be eligible for other forms of compensation and benefits, such as a discretionary bonus, health/dental/vision insurance, Paid Time Off, 401(k) and other benefits eligible to employees. Actual compensation for successful candidates will be carefully determined based on a number of factors, including their skills, qualifications and experience.
