Join Our Team as a Process Automation Intern!

Are you a motivated problem-solver eager to gain hands-on experience in energy markets and automation? Our multi-month internship program in the Bellevue office offers an immersive opportunity to explore North American Power Markets while contributing to impactful automation solutions. As a Process Automation Intern, you’ll collaborate with the Process Innovation Team to scope, design, and implement tools that enhance operations across TEA’s trade floor. You’ll sharpen your skills in SQL, Python, UiPath, and data visualization while building a strong foundation for a future career in energy, data, or technology.

What You’ll Do:

Automation & Innovation

  • Partner with the Process Innovation Team to research, design, and deploy automated solutions using SQL, Python, UiPath, PowerBI, and Tableau.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify time-saving opportunities and quality-of-life enhancements.

Data Analysis & Visualization

  • Clean, validate, and visualize data to ensure accuracy and usability for decision-making.
  • Develop an understanding of TEA’s underlying data structures.

Support & Development

  • Troubleshoot issues and perform ad-hoc analyses in real time.
  • Gain working knowledge of Power Management, Trading, and Settlement environments.
