The Regional Credit Lead will lead the evaluation of creditworthiness for new and existing B2B customers, including establishing and enforcing account terms and conditions and resolving disputes. Ensure implementation of strategies to balance risk and support business growth. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, internal departments, and vendors.
What You'll Do:
  • Review all B2B customer credit applications for approval or denial, including analysis of financial statements, credit bureau reports, trade references, and payment history to assess risk and establish credit limit and terms
  • Make decisions on account credit holds and releases while documenting rationale in accordance with policy and audit procedures
  • Monitor existing accounts for compliance with terms, changes in financial condition or payment behavior, and initiate adjustments or reviews as warranted
  • Collaborate with Sales and other internal Accounts Receivable functions to resolve account issues or escalations
  • Communicate clearly and timely all credit decisions and conditions to stakeholders
  • Produce reporting on new account volume, existing account performance, and other related metrics that can inform bad debt reserve calculation or identify areas of concern
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and audit standards
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures and training materials

What We're Looking For:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or other related field, or 5 years of related experience
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in B2B credit analysis, accounts receivable, or related field
  • Demonstrated ability to independently analyze financial date to make sound credit decisions
  • Strong understanding of credit risk principles and policies
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously, as well as communicate across all levels of organization
  • Excellent analytical, verbal, and written communication skills, as well as interpersonal and negotiation skills. Must be able to defend credit decisions clearly.
  • Fluent English - both oral and written
  • One or more EU language (DE, FR, IT, ES) is an advantage but not mandatory

The annual starting salary for this position is $55,000.00 annually. Factors that may affect starting pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
