Description


Investigate and settle claims filed under the companyโ€™s payment and title insurance program. Provide customer service to and maintain strong relationships with existing insurance customers. Minimize insurance losses through quick response to collection issues and handle disputes confidentlyย and efficiently.

Responsibilities
  • Manage assigned cases in an efficient and timely manner
  • Resolve problems confidently and efficiently
  • Minimize losses through quick response to payment issues
  • Recover vehicles and funds
  • Maintain strong presence with AIA insureds and their customers; further AIA reputation for swift resolutions and ability to minimize loss
  • Oversee and handle payment and title issues reported from individual customer accounts
  • Serve on AIA / AutoTec special project teams to support process improvement and overall growth of company
  • Some travel to industry conferences and in-person recovery work
  • Create and update reports, maintain system notes and other documentation
Requirements
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in business-related field or commercial credit/collections experience
  • Prior experience in dispute mediation and resolution
  • Prior experience working with Microsoft products
  • Able to work independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Excellent communication skills-oral and written, interpersonal
  • Able to be self-motivated and directed
  • Detail oriented, analytical mindset
  • Able to prioritize, multitask, and handle shifting priorities
Preferred but not required
  • Automotive or livestock industry, insurance, claims and/or collections industry experience
  • Commercial sales or account management experience
