Job Summary:

Greenwood Heating and Home Services is looking for Plumber Apprentices to join our team. Washington State Plumbing Trainee License is required for hiring. We are looking for someone who believes in taking care of customers and fellow employees. We are looking for a driven and open minded individual who is looking to do more than field work: someone who enjoys learning and working with their hands and educating and offering services to customers.


Wage / Hours:

This position is a full-time and non-exempt from overtime. Pay to be discussed during interview. Hourly rate ranges from $22-$26 DOE. Working hours may exceed 8 hours a day and may exceed 40 hours per week during busier times of the year.


Location:

This position is performed on the road in the greater Seattle area. Our service range is: North: Everett Area, South: Federal Way Area, East: North Bend.

This role is for our Everett location.


Job Duties / Responsibilities:

Gather information and data about equipment being installed, noting levels and readings of different components on equipment to ensure proper operation.

Work with office staff to pick up correct material and equipment from one of our shops to match what was purchased by customer. Install hot water tanks, tankless water heaters, boiler systems, and provide plumbing services.

Engage in client discussions professionally and politely to uncover their needs and works with their team leaders to address issues if beyond knowledge base.


Job Requirements / Skills:

Understanding and follow through in Greenwoods Core Values and Mission Statement.

Confident and professional communication skills via phone and face to face interaction with homeowners and team members.

Attention to detail when debriefing office or homeowner about your findings in the field.

Service oriented and ability to interact with all customer service scenarios (positive and negative). Ability to empathize and work through challenging problem-solving situations.


Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Plumbing experience preferred, trainee license required


Physical Requirements:

Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Must be able to be on your feet / knees for extended periods of time.

Must be able to work in crawl spaces and attics for periods of time.

-Must be able to work on ladders and drive a company vehicle.
