Oracle Fusion Cloud SCM – Managed Services Track Lead

Location: Birmingham, Alabama – 100% Onsite

Candidate Requirement: Must be within driving distance of Birmingham, AL

Contract: 12 Months

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion Cloud SCM Managed Services Track Lead to lead functional support, enhancements, governance, and continuous improvement activities across Oracle Cloud Supply Chain Management. The Track Lead will serve as the primary functional point of contact for business stakeholders, ensure SLA and KPI compliance, manage incidents and escalations, and coordinate onsite and offshore support teams. The ideal candidate will have strong Oracle Fusion SCM functional expertise combined with proven managed services and stakeholder management experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and lead functional support for Oracle Fusion Cloud SCM modules, including applicable areas such as:
  • Procurement
  • Purchasing
  • Payables
  • Inventory
  • Order Management
  • Product Management
  • Manufacturing, Logistics, and Planning experience is a plus.
  • Lead day-to-day Oracle Cloud Managed Services delivery while ensuring compliance with SLAs and KPIs.
  • Manage and govern incident, problem, change, and escalation management processes.
  • Serve as the primary functional contact for business stakeholders and coordinate with IT, onsite, and offshore teams.
  • Perform root-cause analysis and drive proactive resolution of recurring issues.
  • Lead Oracle quarterly update assessments, including impact analysis, testing coordination, issue identification, and production-readiness activities.
  • Coordinate enhancements, releases, deployments, and operational changes across SCM applications.
  • Drive continuous improvement and process optimization initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to improve business processes and increase adoption of Oracle Cloud best practices.
  • Provide functional leadership and guidance to onsite/offshore support teams.
  • Ensure effective communication of incidents, risks, changes, and status to business and IT leadership.
  • Support governance meetings, service reviews, KPI reporting, and operational reviews.
  • Ensure solutions and support processes remain aligned with business objectives and Oracle best practices.
  • Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced managed services environment.

Required Qualifications

  • 8–12 years of overall Oracle experience, with strong hands-on experience in Oracle Fusion Cloud SCM.
  • Proven experience in Oracle Cloud Managed Services / Application Support.
  • Strong functional expertise in one or more Oracle Fusion SCM modules, preferably with cross-module knowledge.
  • Experience managing SLA/KPI-driven support operations.
  • Strong knowledge of Incident, Problem, Change, and Escalation Management.
  • Experience with Oracle quarterly updates, impact assessment, regression testing, and release readiness.
  • Strong stakeholder management and client-facing experience.
  • Experience coordinating onsite and offshore teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to perform root-cause analysis.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple issues, and make sound functional decisions.
  • Must be willing to work 100% onsite in Birmingham, Alabama and live within reasonable driving distance.
