Job description

In this Track and Trace/Customer Service role, you will be working with carriers in all modes, and in all regions of the US tracking/tracing all active shipments. You must have strong communication skills, attention to detail, drive to go beyond just the norm and the ability to follow direction is an absolute MUST.

This role will require every weekend. Ideal candidate is available Saturday through Wednesday to put in a 40 hour week during that time.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Schedule, confirm, and update appointments for customers, clients, or vendors.
  • Communicate professionally via phone, email, and internal systems to coordinate appointment details.
  • Verify necessary information such as availability, service requirements, and documentation.
  • Maintain accurate appointment logs, records, and reports.
  • Follow up on missed or rescheduled appointments to ensure continuity of service.
  • Collaborate with other departments (such as dispatch, operations, or customer service) to ensure smooth scheduling and operational efficiency.
  • Handle inquiries and resolve scheduling conflicts or issues promptly.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to company policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience in scheduling, administrative support, or customer service.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with high attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word) and scheduling or logistics software.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure and manage competing priorities.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in a logistics, transportation, or healthcare environment (depending on industry).
  • Familiarity with CRM or TMS (Transportation Management System) software.
  • Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) a plus.
