Job description

Teton Petroleum Transport (TPT) is currently seeking an Associate Dispatcher. This role will Dispatch fuel loads to multiple drivers in multiple markets. TPT delivers fuel to over 40 states for a variety of customers and industries. The Company offers a competitive salary and benefits package.

The Associate Dispatcher will primarily be focused on:

  • Ensure drivers are dispatched safely, legally, and efficiently.
  • Responsible for organizing, scheduling, and dispatching CDL-A drivers in multiple markets.
  • Ensure driver productivity through appropriate scheduling and planning.
  • Efficiently route drivers (accounting for road conditions, time of delivery, area, etc.) and minimize lost revenue opportunities.
  • Generate additional load opportunities to maximize daily load count.
  • Ensure dispatching system is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Monitor driver progress and communicate concerns to Terminal Manager.

The preferred candidate for the Associate Dispatcher will have the following:

  • Previous experience dispatching in a commercial fleet operation.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills and able to learn company systems and processes.
  • Adheres to the companys values and ethical expectations
  • Able to effectively multitask.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organization.
  • Sound understanding of DOT/FMCSA rules and regulations.
