Security Event Staff – Game Day (Part-Time)
Starting Pay: $17.00/hour
Mandatory Direct Deposit Required
Position Summary:
FC Dallas is seeking dedicated and professional individuals to join our Security Event Staff team at Toyota Stadium and Soccer Center. This is a part-time, hourly, event-based position with the majority of shifts scheduled on evenings and weekends. Our Security Event Staff are essential in providing a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable experience for all fans, staff, and guests during FC Dallas matches, concerts, high school sports, and other events hosted at our venues.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a professional and visible presence in alignment with FC Dallas and client standards, contributing to a safe and welcoming environment.
  • Patrol assigned areas of Toyota Stadium and Soccer Center to deter unauthorized activity and ensure the safety of guests, staff, and vendors.
  • Monitor access points by conducting bag checks, entry screenings, and staying alert to any suspicious behavior or safety risks.
  • Respond promptly and appropriately to security incidents or emergencies, including disturbances, medical needs, or unauthorized entries.
  • Collaborate with FC Dallas event staff, law enforcement, and emergency services to support coordinated response and security resolution.
  • Provide excellent customer service by assisting attendees, answering questions, and directing guests as needed.
  • Document and report security-related incidents or observations to supervisors, law enforcement, or medical personnel.
  • Complete and submit written reports detailing relevant activities, incidents, or observations during assigned shifts.
  • Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety protocols to maintain a high level of security and professionalism.
  • Must commit to attending and working all assigned home games unless excused with prior notice. Excessive absences may result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination.
  • No Call / No Show after signing up for a game will result in termination.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support event operations and fan experience.
Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Must be at least 18 years old (subject to local regulations).
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework preferred.
  • Prior experience in event security, customer service, or a related field is a plus.
  • Previous experience in stadiums, entertainment, or event services.
  • Comfortable working outdoors for extended periods in varying weather conditions (heat, cold, rain).
  • Strong observational, situational awareness, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on event schedules.
  • Must pass a background check.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a strong plus.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
