Key Responsibilities:

Experienced Technicians can perform diagnoses and repairs of most vehicle components as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards. Able to maintain cooperative and teamwork centered outlook with an ultimate focus on customer satisfaction.

  • Perform work as outlined on the repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership standards and requirements
  • Diagnoses cause of most malfunctions and performs repair
  • Communicates with parts department to obtain needed parts
  • Documents all work performed and recommended on the repair order
  • Communicate directly with service Advisors so that customers can be informed and provided an estimate if any additional service is needed
  • Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
  • Saves and tags parts of the job if under warranty or if requested by customer
  • Participates in Toyota-sponsored training programs, schools and events
  • Keeps abreast of manufacturer technical bulletins.
  • Supervises work of any apprentice technicians as assigned
  • Reports machinery defects or malfunctions or safety issues immediately

Qualifications

  • Experience as a Toyota technician is preferred
  • Toyota and/or ASE Certifications are ideal
  • Strong automotive technical background consisting of a minimum of 4 years of related experience and/or graining or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Valid driver’s license, able to pass a background check & drug screen
  • Strong teamwork skills with a customer service mentality
  • Basic computer competencies with ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment, learn new technology, repair & service procedures and specifications
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, employing mechanical and trouble shooting skills
  • Time management skills
  • Fantastic communication skills with your customers
