Job Description

The Opportunity: 
The Sr Associate will collaborate the toy portfolio management assisting on strategy and product development pipeline.

What Your Impact Will Be: 

  • Support the day-to-day management of the product segment(s) and act as point of contact for brand inquiries and dissemination of brand information.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Manager to support development and maintenance of key product line tools and documents; contribute to business strategies, objectives, and insights; assist in P&L management
  • Work closely with cross-functional partners (Product Design, Packaging, Development, etc.) to support delivery of innovative and compelling toys to market on time and on budget, informed by consumer insights
  • Collaborate with manager to support development of global product strategies and help drive alignment across internal partners and key markets
  • Assist in managing margin targets and line plans from initiation to completion, ensuring smooth handoff to commercial teams
  • Prepare and support delivery of presentations that communicate strategic direction to internal stakeholders
  • Support product lifecycle management, partnering with supply planning, demand planning, retail, and commercial teams
  • Contribute to global business reporting and analysis
  • Support development of creative briefs and provide product inputs for marketing initiatives
  • Monitor key trends, brands, and competitor performance across markets, providing relevant insights
Qualifications

What We're Looking For:

  • 2+ years relevant work experience in marketing, preferably in product development, CPG or toy companies, ideally with exposure to retail buyer dynamics
  • Retail/channel knowledge: Ability to leverage insights to build mass, specialty, and e-commerce distribution strategies.
  • Excellent time management, planning and project execution skills
  • Strong quantitative/Analytical/financial skills (forecasting, pricing, SKU productivity and competitive analysis).
  • Ability to synthesize data and pull insights to create recommendations
  • Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to build solid collaborative relationships with cross-functional teams (i.e. design, commercial, and development etc.).
  • Strong PowerPoint creation and presentation skills; advanced Excel skills including data analysis and reporting; proficient in Outlook and Word
