Job description

Kuhlman Electric is seeking a detail-oriented Field Inspector to join our team on an independent contract basis. In this role, you will represent the Kuhlman brand by meeting with the local city/ town inspectors to ensure electrical installations meet local safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct On-Site Electrical Inspections: Be available on site at various residential locations with the city/ town inspector for visual and functional inspections to verify compliance with local codes.

  • Documentation & Reporting: Complete quick, accurate post-inspection notes and submit brief reports (or photo confirmations) following each job visit. Conduct minor electrical changes to meet local inspector requirements.

  • Professional Representation: Serve as a polite, professional point of contact for homeowners and electrical inspectors, wearing Kuhlman branded apparel.
