Compensation (Draw / Uncapped Commission):

  • $50,000 - $80,000+ / year
Job Description
  • Responsible for calling, following up and scheduling appointments for customers to come in and appraise and purchase their used vehicles.
  • Utilize CRM for prospecting and lead generation.
  • Interface with current used vehicle owners from appointments set and dealership service drive with the purpose of purchasing their vehicle.
  • Approach, greet, and engage with dealership customers to appraise and offer to purchase their current vehicles.
  • Appraise used vehicles by asking questions, taking pictures of the vehicles, and inputting vehicle data into Sonic's automated inventory management system.
  • Work with Sales Managers to build and propose an offer to seller.
  • Introduces guest to sales department personnel to sell them a new vehicle after purchase of their existing vehicle.
  • Review monthly goals with management on vehicles purchased to better utilize time and plans more effectively.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 1+ years of experience in automotive purchasing, acquisitions, and appraisals.
  • Strong ability to engage with customers effectively, build rapport, and address their needs and concerns professionally.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills with a persuasive and articulate demeanor over the phone.
  • Ability to persistently pursue leads, maintaining a positive attitude throughout.
  • Comfortable using CRM software and productivity tools to manage leads and track progress.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Must be authorized to work in the USA.
  • Must be willing to undergo pre-employment compliance requirements: Drug testing, background check, MVR.
Additional Information

Compensation (Draw / Uncapped Commission):

  • Performance-based earnings range: $50,000 - $80,000+ / per year
    • Actual earnings depend on performance. High-performing sales professionals who consistently meet and exceed store and corporate goals often earn well above this range.
