  • Implement and optimize planning applications: Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Inventory Optimization, Control Tower/monitoring, and S&OP/IBP scenarios.
  • Participate in and support the end-to-end design, configuration, testing, and continuous improvement of integrated planning processes across Kinaxis RapidResponse and SAP (PP/DS, PP, ATP, and supply planning functions), collaborating with functional and technical teams to ensure seamless planning execution and system integration.
  • Design and maintain data models and mappings for master (items, locations, BOMs), transactional (orders, forecasts, receipts), calendars, and attributes required for planning and allocation.
  • Operate and monitor integrations between RapidResponse and SAP S/4HANA (and/or ECC), including middleware pipelines (e.g., MuleSoft), troubleshooting data issues, reprocessing jobs, and reconciling deltas end-to-end.
  • Develop and maintain data quality checks, exception dashboards, and alerting to proactively address data readiness and plan health.
  • Lead performance tuning (scenario size, memory usage, query optimization) and platform diagnostics; drive root-cause analysis and permanent fixes for recurring issues.
  • Build and govern scenario management, playbooks, and what-if analysis frameworks for planners and leadership.
  • Own change management: author technical designs, configuration documentation, and CRs; plan and execute regression testing, UAT, and controlled releases aligned to cutover timelines.
  • Ensure security, compliance, and auditability (SOX, data privacy), including SSO, role-based access, and evidence collection.
  • Partner with a Kinaxis COE, planners, Supply Chain SMEs, and Finance to translate business needs into stable, scalable technical solutions.
  • Provide L2/L3 operational support with defined SLAs; participate in on-call rotations for critical planning cycles.
  • Measure and report KPIs (forecast accuracy, plan adherence, allocation accuracy, integration reliability); drive continuous improvement backlog and automation opportunities.
  • Create user enablement materials and deliver training to planners and super users; promote best practices in scenario building and governance.
  • Coordinate vendor/partner activities and align roadmaps for upgrades, quarterly maintenance, and feature adoption.

What we look for:
  • 10 years of IT/Supply Chain technology experience, including 5+ years administering/configuring Kinaxis RapidResponse in enterprise environments.
  • Hands-on expertise with RapidResponse data structures, tasks, resources, workbooks, and security; proven experience implementing Demand, Supply, and S&OP/IBP applications.
  • Demonstrated integration experience between RapidResponse and SAP S/4HANA (or ECC) using APIs, flat-file interfaces, or middleware (e.g., MuleSoft); strong data reconciliation skills.
  • Solid data modeling and SQL skills; fluency with one scripting language (e.g., Python or PowerShell) for automation and diagnostics.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain planning concepts (MRP/DRP, ATP, pegging, allocation, inventory optimization, and constraint-based planning).
  • Experience with Agile delivery (Scrum/Kanban), backlog management (Jira/Azure DevOps), and CI/CD for configuration and integration assets.
  • Excellent problem-solving and stakeholder communication skills; ability to translate planner needs into technical designs and explain tradeoffs to leadership.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree a plus.
  • Relevant certifications preferred: Kinaxis RapidResponse (Level 1/2/3 or Professional), SAP S/4 (PP/MM/SD/IBP), MuleSoft (Integration/Platform) is desired.
