Job Description Summary

"IMPORTANT: Sunbelt Rentals is seeking local Savannah, GA area candidates for this role. We are currently unable to offer relocation assistance or travel/per-diem for this position. Candidates must currently reside within a commutable distance of Savannah, Georgia.

Pay:$28.00-$30.00 Plus (Depending on Experience)

Scaffold E&D Foreman

Sunbelt Rentals--the fastest growing rental business in North America--is seeking a Scaffold Supervisor, Also known as Scaffold E&D Foreman 1.

Design various types of scaffolds and order materials as required to maintain work flow. Perform all necessary documentations i.e. delivery/pick up tickets, time sheets, extra work authorizations, safety plans, JSA's and scaffold inspection checklists, etc. Foreman 1 must act as a mentor and coach to the Scaffold E&D Lead Carpenters to aid in their development and will report to the Foreman 2. Foreman 1 is required to work with tools from to time in addition to supervising a screw.

Education or experience that prepares you for success:

  • Must live in the Phoenix, AZ area.
  • Scaffold E&D Lead Carpenter for a minimum of 2 years or approved equivalent experience
  • Some trade school preferred but not required
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to work comfortably and safely at considerable heights
  • Bilingual a plus

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities you may rely on:

  • Must be able to safely and effectively supervise a crew or supervise and direct up to (3) Lead Carpenters, who each run a small crew, to erect and dismantle various types of scaffolding under the supervision of the E&D Foreman 2 or E&D Supervisor
  • Must have good knowledge of the OSHA rules and regulations regarding scaffolding
  • Must have a good knowledge and understanding of the various types of scaffolding material being used so that the intended loads of the scaffolding are not exceeded

The physical demands of this role require bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 40 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors when required by the job.
