To address these risks, climbers undergo rigorous safety training, follow strict protocols, and use specialized personal protective equipment like harnesses and fall arrest systems. Teams often conduct pre-climb safety meetings, regular equipment inspections, and implement a buddy system to ensure everyone’s well-being. Staying updated on safety standards and communicating effectively with team members are also crucial for minimizing hazards.
