Position Summary:
This position includes, but not limited to, loading and unloading trucks.
Responsibilities:
  • Must check incoming loads and write a receiving slip on them.
  • Place all supplies in proper storage areas.
  • Unload new equipment and move equipment through plant.
  • Take supplies to production areas.
  • Print labels.
  • Complete general cleanup in warehouse areas.
  • Take and keep track of inventory.
  • Perform general housekeeping duties in the department.
  • Comply with all safety, food safety, GMP and SQF requirements.
  • Perform all positions of job rotation as needed.
  • Perform any other work as assigned by management.

Requirements:
  • Ability and willingness to complete all paperwork and SAP functions.
  • Ability and willingness to work overtime and/or weekends as needed.
  • Ability and willingness to perform basic math functions (i.e.: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
  • Ability and willingness to obtain a class II tow motor certification.

Physical Requirements: The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
  • Ability and willingness to push/pull/lift with arms below waist/at shoulder/above shoulder level 20 pounds or greater frequently.
  • Ability and willingness to lift/lower/carry 20 pounds or greater with back and legs.
  • Ability and willingness to work in a fast-paced environment with rapid hand and eye coordination to move product on a conveyor and/or other processing equipment.
  • Ability and willingness to flex/grip with wrist/hands frequently.
  • Ability and willingness to stand/walk/climb/bend for up to 10 hours.
  • Ability and willingness to work in wet conditions and cold temperatures at 35 degrees.

Preferred Skills:
  • Machine Operator experience preferred
  • Experience in a manufacturing setting preferred
  • RF Scanner experience preferred

Qualifications:
  • 3 months of work history with the same employer
