Job Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and organized PR Account Executive to join our team. This role will be essential in managing client relationships, executing PR and social media campaigns that elevates our clients' brands. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in public relations and some social media experience preferred, excellent communication skills, and a passion for storytelling that resonates with target audiences. At Helios, you’ll work with a talented team to develop and implement effective PR strategies that deliver results.

Qualifications
  • Professional in Communication. Journalism, Public Relations or Marketing.
  • Professional experience of at least 3 years, ideally in a communications, or social media agency or in a media outlet.
  • Excellent writing and oral communication.
  • Critical and analytical thinking.
  • Creative, proactive, responsible, extremely organized person, with the ability to work under pressure and oriented to customer service.
  • Existing relationships with US media preferred.
  • Proven record of securing media coverage for B2B and/or B2C brands in US domestic media.
Responsibilities:
  • Support in planning strategic communications, social media, and public relations for assigned clients.
  • Research about clients, businesses and industry to maintain a strategic knowledge base.
  • Writing content: social media copy, press releases, key messages, Q&A, biographies, data sheets, statements, newsletters, protocols, creative briefs, among others.
  • Pitch and establish relationships with media and influencers: database updates, meeting management, monitoring of established agreements, calls, among others.
  • Secure consistent coverage for agency clients.
  • Support in the coordination and execution of client activities and campaigns.
  • Preparation of recurrent reports for clients.
  • Manage the backend of annual events calendars for clients, liaising with event reps, pitching speaking opportunities, and working with creative agencies to generate presentations and marketing collateral.
