Position we are hiring for: Account Manager/Sales Engineer

Qualifications

• Self-motivated individuals who care about others’ success

• Likes being part of a team and supporting teammates

• Some combination of sound engineer, musician, integrator, or live event production

• Background could be in house of worship, touring, corporate production, broadcast, etc.

• Knows and loves the gear

• Reliable and dependable as we always need an opening salesperson and a closing salesperson

• Detailed management of communication and administration of sales transactions

• Bi-lingual Spanish a plus

Responsibilities

• Create and continuously foster relationships with B2B customers – we don’t just sell what we have, we sell what the customer needs!

• Not a stereotypical sales role - technical, collaborative selling with professional customers

• Give professional advice with support of manufacturers to sell pro audio, video, and lighting gear

• Support sound system design for churches, schools, restaurants/hospitality, live venues, recording studios, commercial install

• Research and educate customers on all categories of gear for sound reinforcement, amplification, digital audio recording, live sound, stage lighting, video, intercom, and more

• Purchase special order product from manufacturers

• Follow up on orders or troubleshoot gear issues in partnership with our suppliers to provide outstanding customer service

• Participate in training and education to learn about new products to advise customers

• Answer phones, respond to emails, handle walk-in customers, pull and stage customer pick up orders, source products, process payments, collaborate with suppliers, support teammates

• Work in an office environment with other sales and operations teammates

• Own sales transaction from initial contact through quoting, research, follow up, sales confirmation, payment processing, picking, shipping, invoicing, and returns/repairs

• Customer service hours 9am-5pm Monday-Friday (salespeople work either 8:30am-5pm or 9am-5:30pm)
