Job description

Job Summary
The Information Technology (IT) Intern - Support Services role provides hands-on experience supporting the technology that keeps our business running. This internship offers the opportunity to work alongside IT professionals, assisting with technical support, troubleshooting, and supporting service desk operations across office and manufacturing environments. Interns will gain exposure to a wide range of technologies, including end-user support, networking, telecommunications, and server infrastructure. In this position, you will develop valuable technical and professional skills.
What You Will Be Doing
1. Service Desk Support:
  • Provide first incident and service request support across all IT devices, software and applications.

  • Create, update, and resolve tickets within the Service Management system.

  • Conduct initial troubleshooting and ask questions to help determine what the user needs.

  • Leverage the knowledge database to resolve the issue.

  • Escalate tickets to the appropriate technical resource, when needed, to ensure a timely resolution.
  • Assist with building knowledge documents.

2. Facilities Technical Support:
  • Work at the production facilities with Plant Engineers on Information Technology support needs.

  • Experience the manufacturing environment and how IT hardware and software are utilized.

  • Assist with workstations, laptops, tablets, scanners, and phone deployments.

  • Assist with network and telecom support at Home Office and Facilities.

This internship is an excellent opportunity for students interested in Information Technology to apply classroom knowledge in a real-world environment. Through hands-on experience and mentorship from experienced IT professionals, interns will develop technical troubleshooting skills, gain exposure to enterprise technologies, and build a strong foundation for a future career in Information Technology.

What you need to be considered for this role:
  • Student in Junior or Senior status pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or other related field required.
