Job description

Project Developer - Residential Remodeling - Seattle, WA

At Iron Brothers Construction, quality craftsmanship, integrity, and a high commitment to excellence set us apart on every project. We are looking for a full time Project Developer who can guide homeowners during the design and pre-construction process. The Project Developer combines sales, client relationship management, project planning, estimating, design coordination and materials selection. You will work closely with clients, designers, architects, trade partners and our production team to develop detailed remolding projects from conception through handoff. If you are organized, personable, detail-oriented, and passionate about helping homeowners bring their remodeling visions to life, then we want to talk with you!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Sales: Attend consultation appointments, taking notes and providing excellent customer service. Providing follow up on all sales consultations, attending client meetings, photographing the space, and providing information from the designers and architects.
  • Proposal Preparation: Assist with proposal preparation, providing required information to vendors for materials, researching materials for project, and preparing all documentation for trade walks. Providing all documentation and communication around scope of work and change orders.
  • Design and Material Selection: Work directly with clients on plan approvals, assisting the PM of the design, coordinating design appointments and scheduling, reviewing material selection, and communication with the client and team around scheduling, changes, and installation.
  • Production Coordination/Materials and Support: Ordering materials and supplies, scheduling deliveries, maintaining sales notebooks, assist with re-orders and troubleshooting, assist in project calendar preparation, communication of delivers to the IBC team.
  • PR/Marketing: Attend business networking events, vending and running a Show Booth, and assisting with events such as Home Tour, Home Show, Remodel Expo.
  • Administrative: Daily office functions including email, phone, scanning, fax, and clerical. Creating and reviewing policies and procedures. Appointment scheduling and calendar updates.


Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma.
  • Associate degree strongly preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in administration with residential remodeling.
  • Ability to understand drawings and blueprints, and decipher product and appliance specs.
  • Valid WA state Drivers license and proof of insurance.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 60 pounds.
  • Ability to climb three flights of stairs.
  • Access to clean, functional and dependable vehicle.
  • Competent using computer, cell phone camera, and construction equipment (tape measure, level, etc.).
  • Competent with MS Windows, Web Browsers, and Outlook with using attachments.
  • Ability to work indoor and outdoor, with a variety of people and materials.
  • Ability to work up to 50 hours a week, within business hours: M-F, 7am to 6pm. Hours may vary based on project volume.
  • Ability to meet deadlines, working independently and within a team.
  • Reliable and honest.
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal), organizational, and customers service skills.
