Job description

The Office of Undergraduate Admission invites applications for an Admissions Visitor Experience & Engagement Coordinator. This position coordinates campus visits for prospective students and families while providing administrative support to the Office of Undergraduate Admission. The Coordinator serves as a primary point of contact for visitors and campus partners and helps provide a welcoming, organized, and student-centered admission experience.Responsibilities include coordinating individual and group visits, overnight experiences, shadowing opportunities, and other visit programs. The Coordinator works closely with admissions staff, faculty, coaches, student ambassadors, academic departments, and other University partners to schedule visits, communicate details, and ensure a smooth visitor experience. This role also coordinates and communicates regularly with approximately 30–40 student tour guides.The Coordinator responds to in-person, telephone, and email inquiries; provides professional customer service; addresses routine questions and concerns; and refers matters as appropriate. The position maintains prospective student and visit information in the University's admissions CRM, prepares visit communications and confirmations, monitors follow-up needs, and supports daily office operations, including mail distribution and routine administrative and financial processes.Qualified candidates will demonstrate strong customer service, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills, as well as sound judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities. The successful candidate must be able to work independently and collaboratively, maintain confidentiality, and build positive relationships with students, families, and campus partners.A high school diploma or GED and a minimum of two years of clerical experience are required; an undergraduate degree is preferred. Candidates should possess intermediate computer skills, including data entry, email, internet navigation, and common office applications.
