Director, Total Rewards

New York, NY (Hybrid)


A high-growth, publicly traded consumer products company is seeking a strategic and hands-on Director of Total Rewards to lead and evolve its compensation, benefits, payroll governance, compliance, and people operations strategy.


This is an opportunity to join a purpose-driven organization at an exciting stage of growth, partnering closely with executive leadership to build scalable programs that support a growing global workforce.


What You'll Do

  • Lead the company's total rewards strategy, including compensation, benefits, payroll governance, and compliance
  • Develop and refine compensation philosophy, salary structures, job leveling, benchmarking, and governance
  • Partner cross-functionally with Finance, Legal, IT, and HR leadership on people initiatives and regulatory compliance
  • Oversee payroll controls, HR systems, and total rewards operations while ensuring public company standards are maintained
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a small People Operations team
  • Build scalable programs and processes that support continued business growth
