Job Summary
The Shipping Processor is responsible for preparing, processing, and coordinating outgoing shipments to ensure accurate and timely delivery to customers and distribution centers. This role involves verifying orders, generating shipping labels, maintaining shipment records, and collaborating with warehouse and customer service teams to meet shipping deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
  • Process customer orders for shipment accurately and efficiently.
  • Verify product quantities, SKUs, and shipping information before dispatch.
  • Generate shipping labels, packing slips, bills of lading, and other shipping documentation.
  • Coordinate shipments with carriers such as UPS, FedEx, DHL, USPS, and freight providers.
  • Ensure orders are packed and prepared according to company standards.
  • Monitor shipment schedules and communicate delays or issues to supervisors.
  • Track shipments and update order status in warehouse management systems (WMS) or ERP systems.
  • Maintain accurate shipping records and documentation.
  • Assist with inventory verification and cycle counts as needed.
  • Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
  • Support receiving, warehouse, and logistics functions during peak periods.
