About the Company

First Look Entertainment is seeking a highly organized Executive Assistant to provide administrative duties for the company's Chief Operating Officer. This is a high-expectation, high-output role at the center of a fast-moving entertainment company spanning studio and streaming investments, as well as the financing, production and distribution of feature films, scripted and unscripted television. The role will be highly integrated into a larger team working across all aspects of the company’s businesses.


The ideal candidate is calm under pressure, relentlessly proactive, and genuinely passionate about the intersection of entertainment, business and technology.


Studio, Agency, Entertainment PE Company, or Entertainment Investment Bank desk experience preferred.


About the Role

The Executive Assistant will provide administrative support to the COO, ensuring effective management of the COO’s schedule and responsibilities.


Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and ensure that the COO’s schedule is effectively constructed with an eye to supporting expressed priorities.
  • Work closely with the COO to keep him well-informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities, following up appropriately.
  • Handle basic administrative duties: travel, expense reports, creation and maintenance of documents.
  • Assist in project management across all studio groups, productions, investments, business development, finance, legal, HR, technology and facilities.
  • Assist in coordinating the agenda of senior management team meetings, and all staff meetings.
  • Manage external contacts; proactively understanding who they are, who the primary contacts are, and keeping track of periodic communication needed for primary contacts.
  • Other appropriately related projects/duties as assigned.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree with at least 1-2 years administrative exposure, preferably in the media/entertainment industry.
  • Excellent organizational skills that reflect the ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong sense of teamwork.
  • Ability to operate independently and remotely from a supervisor.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Proficient with technology including mobile devices.
  • High level of professionalism and demonstrated ability to handle confidential information accordingly is crucial in this role.

Pay range and compensation package

Compensation (NYC Only): This is an hourly role with the hourly rate being determined based on relative experience, skillset and other job related factors. For reference, similar roles within the company earn $55,000-$65,000 per annum in hourly wages.
