The successful candidate will work onsite in our state-of-the-art surgical center located in Mineola, New York. • Perform initial evaluations for patients with personal injuries, establishing treatment plans based on patient history and clinical assessments.
• Prescribe appropriate medications, including non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), muscle relaxers, and medicated patches, ensuring adherence to best practices.
• Order and interpret necessary imaging studies, such as MRIs, to assist in accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Leverage telehealth platforms for remote patient consultations, enhancing accessibility for patients and optimizing care delivery.
• Coordinate referrals to specialist providers, such as physical therapists and pain management specialists, facilitating comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain and update patient medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
• Collaborate seamlessly with interdisciplinary teams to deliver integrated and holistic patient care.

• A current and unrestricted Physician Assistant license in the state of New York is required.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in pain management or a related medical field is preferred.
• A Master's Degree in Physician Assistant studies from an accredited institution is mandatory.
• Certification as a Physician Assistant by a nationally recognized certifying body (e.g., NCCPA) is required.
• Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems and medical documentation is essential.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with patients and collaborate with healthcare team members.

While experience in pain management is preferred, candidates with a strong clinical background in other areas of medicine will also be considered. Familiarity with surgical procedures and protocols can enhance the effectiveness of the PA in our surgical center.

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 150,000 to 180,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
