Job description

We are seeking a dependable and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team.  This role is responsible for completing maintenance and repair work across residential properties while providing excellent service, maintaining quality standards, and helping keep properties safe, functional, and well-maintained.

Responsibilities

  • Complete work orders and repair requests promptly while maintaining a high standard of quality.
  • Assess maintenance issues and accurately estimate the time, materials, and scope of repairs.
  • Perform routine, preventative, and corrective maintenance on property structures, systems, and equipment.
  • Inspect properties regularly to identify maintenance needs, safety concerns, or potential issues.
  • Maintain and manage inventory of materials, tools, and supplies to ensure availability for repairs.
  • Perform basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general maintenance tasks as needed.
  • Implement pest control measures when required.
  • Use technology to track work orders, update records, and communicate job status.
  • Travel to properties in Lexington and surrounding counties.
  • Participate in occasional on-call or emergency maintenance coverage as needed.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in property maintenance, facilities maintenance, or a related field.
  • Working knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general repair tasks.
  • Familiarity with common maintenance tools and equipment.
