Work EnvironmentReal estate offices, client homes, open housesReal estate offices, client homes, open houses
Industry UsageOften used for top-performing or highly recognized agentsGeneral term for licensed real estate professionals

While both Top Realtors and Real Estate Agents are licensed professionals in the real estate industry, Top Realtors typically refer to agents recognized for high performance, reputation, or awards. Real Estate Agent is a broader term for anyone licensed to buy or sell property. The main difference lies in recognition and status, with Top Realtors often having additional credentials or accolades that set them apart.

What type of realtors make the most money?

Top realtors who specialize in luxury properties, commercial real estate, or high-end markets tend to earn the most income due to higher commissions and transaction values. Successful realtors often have strong negotiation skills, extensive networks, and a deep understanding of their market niche. Experience, reputation, and a large client base also significantly impact earning potential.

What job makes $10,000 a month without a degree?

A top realtor can earn $10,000 or more per month through commissions on property sales, especially in high-value markets. Success in this role depends on strong sales skills, networking, and market knowledge, with no formal degree required. Income varies based on experience, location, and sales volume.

How much does a realtor make off of a $300,000 house?

A top realtor typically earns a commission of about 5-6% of the sale price, so on a $300,000 house, they would make approximately $15,000 to $18,000. The commission is usually split with their brokerage, so the realtor's actual earnings depend on their agreement and the number of transactions they complete annually.

What jobs pay 500,000 a year in the US?

Top real estate agents or brokers can earn $500,000 or more annually through commissions, especially in high-value markets. Other high-paying roles include CEOs, investment bankers, and specialized surgeons, often requiring advanced degrees, extensive experience, and strong networks. Income at this level typically involves significant responsibility, performance-based pay, and sometimes ownership stakes.

Job description

Join The Inbound Lead Division At Dark Horse Group:

Dark Horse Group is hiring Realtors for our inbound lead division across North Carolina, Arizona, and Texas.

This role is designed for agents who want warm transfer opportunities, market-specific support, training, accountability, and the backing of one of the top real estate teams serving the Ft. Bragg market.

Dark Horse Group has sold more than $500M and has built a strong presence in military, relocation, buyer, and seller-driven markets.

The Opportunity:

The inbound lead division is powered by multiple lead sources, including:

  1. Zillow Preferred
  2. Movoto+
  3. Internal Military Referral Network
  4. Fello

Agents can expect 12–15+ warm transfer leads per month, with support tailored to their market and business.

This is a strong fit for agents who want more conversations with real prospects and the training to convert those conversations into clients.

What Makes This Different:

Inbound leads are only valuable if the agent has speed, follow-up discipline, market knowledge, and sales skill.

Dark Horse Group supports agents with the systems and coaching needed to build those skills.

Agents receive access to:

  1. Follow Up Boss CRM with AI follow-up integrations
  2. Team Slack
  3. Shilo
  4. Skyslope
  5. DocuSign
  6. Canva Pro
  7. Weekly team meetings
  8. 1-on-1 sales coaching
  9. Sales role play
  10. Tools and technology training
  11. Transaction coordinator support
  12. Listing operations support
  13. Team Lead and Mentor support

Markets Served:

Dark Horse Group is actively hiring in:

  1. Fayetteville, NC
  2. Jacksonville, NC
  3. New Bern, NC
  4. Wilmington, NC
  5. Greensboro, NC
  6. Phoenix, AZ
  7. San Antonio, TX

Priority markets include Fayetteville, Jacksonville, Phoenix, and San Antonio.

Who We’re Looking For:

We are looking for Realtors who are:

  1. Licensed and ready to grow
  2. Fast to respond to inbound opportunities
  3. Consistent with follow-up
  4. Coachable and willing to train
  5. Comfortable working buyer and seller conversations
  6. Interested in military and relocation-driven markets
  7. Serious about accountability and production
  8. Ready to be part of a growing team
Why Dark Horse Group:

Dark Horse Group gives agents access to warm lead opportunities, a strong support staff, market-specific coaching, and the systems needed to grow faster than they likely would on their own.
