Position Highlights
  • Specialty: Pediatric Neurosurgery — academic faculty position
  • Schedule: One day of clinic per week; remaining four days split between OR, research, floor coverage, and administrative time
  • Volume: Conservatively 100 cases in year one, scaling to 200+ once established
  • Call: Experienced APPs provide 24/7 hospital coverage and take first call
  • Team: Division of 2 physician faculty plus a dedicated team of PAs, pediatric NPs, and RNs
  • Support: Dedicated Neuro‑ICU; state‑of‑the‑art equipment and unparalleled program infrastructure
  • Collaboration: Weekly multidisciplinary conference with radiology; active spina bifida clinic; close integration with pediatric subspecialists and referring physicians
  • Academic Responsibilities: Resident teaching and clinical research expected
